The design of the water inlet to the bowl does not cause a circular motion to form but rather just a roiling which prevents everything from being flushed on the first time. I’m not sure if I’d be willing to buy two of these for a double vanity due to the price. The best thing about this faucet isn’t the elegant design or color, it’s the fact that my two toddlers and husband can turn this thing on full blast and it won’t spray everywhere like our other faucets do. I usually don't write reviews but after reading the reviews for this tub I wanted to add my perspective because I don't want others to miss out on this great tub. I love it so much. We installed this tub as part of a bathroom remodel in the fall of 2019. It's a beautiful tub, feels smooth and substantial to the touch and the lithocast keeps a hot, cozy bath for a long time. It's very deep but doesn't take up a lot of space so a great elegant choice if your bathroom isn't huge. I have used the tub at least once a week since we got it. We do not have the issues the other reviewers mentioned with the drain: - it works great, the mechanism needs to be pushed down firmly but once engaged, it stays down and keeps all the water in. It's so nice because it's completely unobtrusive when you're in the bath. I have not had it accidentally pop up and I do move around quite a bit rinsing my hair, shaving my legs, etc. - water drains completely and quickly once the drain is opened. I do not experience any leftover water or puddles in the tub once drained. This tub is heavy! It's not as heavy as a cast iron, but it took a few men to carry it to my upstairs bathroom and the stairwell maneuver was a little scary to watch lol. I have been a Kohler customer for 20+ years, 8 bathroom remodels and 3 kitchens. For any items that I have purchased and shipped directly from Kohler, we've not had a single item arrive broken (that's 8(!) toilets and so many sinks). I've had 2 faucet issues (on a very expensive kitchen faucet) and they have stood behind their lifetime warranty and replaced the faucet entirely. My interactions with Kohler customer service have overall been great - I once ordered the incorrect part and they helped me figure out which was the right one and we got it exchanged at no addl cost, as well as the faucet issue mentioned above. They are good on the phone and over email. I did not have any issues where the notes from my phone calls were not captured but if that's a concern, I would suggest that you email them. I always got a response to email within a day and you'll have a written trail to reference. They did discontinue my oddly shaped kitchen sink, so I would be more careful next time before I choose something non-standard that is then carved in stone (in the form of my granite counter cutout). When the poor installation warped the sink, it was a difficult problem to solve since I couldn't get a replacement from Kohler. Kohler is a great company, you can pop over to their factory in Wisconsin where they actually make so many of their products, stay in their hotels, eat at their wonderful restaurants and golf on their courses :).
