Fit the vintage tub I picked up from a scrap yard and repainted which had a 4 inch spread. I would have preferred one that was fitted specifically for a 4 in spread, because the mechanism that allows it to be adjustable also makes it a bit bulky, but the price for all the components together couldn't be beat. I think my plumber may have added the plastic nuts for the bolts, not sure those are the ones it came with, which detract from the look, but its in the back. Overall I am very happy with this.. bought this for a bathroom remodel and the box was packed full of little styrofoam packing balls. Our contractor installed the faucet and when it was time to test everything , the handheld sprayer had no pressure and was just dribbling out. When the contactor took the hose and handle apart, the inside was PACKED with the styrofoam balls. it took over an hour to get them all out of the hose and sprayer.
