First, I'm grateful that I could find an umbrella that matches the color of my patio chairs--a burgundy wine color. Not an easy thing to find based on my experience. Having said that, I was initially a bit surprised and disappointed that the umbrella fabric was actually a see-through vinyl mesh (see pix). It won't do much to block the hot summer sun, and it doesn't tilt either. Kind of pricey, as well. Still, it will suit my needs and is a keeper.. George. Escondido Ca. Mon Mar 30 2020

I was really hesitant to get this because I’m not a fan PVC but it’s so much more resilient than the cotton one I had that got dirty and molded over time. I went with the green that has a bit of a turquoise tint to it and it is still beautiful even though I’m drawn to the more decorative umbrellas that just don’t hold up in the weather. This one doest and is still attractive because of color, design and the scalloped edges.. Jennifer. Austin, TX. Sat Jun 15 2024

The market umbrella is the perfect blend of durability, functionality, and modern aesthetics! The crank lift system allows you to open and close the umbrella with minimal effort. The umbrella features a sturdy steel frame, ensuring durability over time. Compared with our classic minimal design, this upgraded style umbrella comes with a sagging surrounding rim on the edge of the canopy, adding a touch of beauty and a relaxed atmosphere to the umbrella. It's perfect for the romantic garden, eyeful beach, deck, poolside, patio etc.

Okay so here’s the thing: this came without the base so I literally can’t tell you how it performs outside yet. That said, the umbrella itself? Quality. Steel frame, weather-resistant fabric, decent weight to it (15.2 lbs), crank lift system feels smooth. The octagonal shape with the drape edge detail is cute—gives it that upgraded market umbrella vibe instead of the basic look. The beige color is exactly what it looks like online. Pole diameter is 1.5” so standard if you’re sourcing your own base. Once I actually get a base and test it through some real sun/wind (it’s rated for 16 mph), I’ll update with the actual performance. But from a quality standpoint? This thing is built to last.. Khifindsit. Connecticut. Sat Jul 04 2026
