We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. It was a bit time consuming to make this bed, at some parts the instructions were a little unclear. Unfortunately the led light strip provided didn't work, but its ok since our son didnt need it. I like putting his favorite books and toys on the shelves, and I can plug in one of his night lights into the port which makes up for the light bar not working.
