Knotty Alder Corbel

It’s the first piece of furniture in any home. There's nothing as warm and welcoming as a crackling fire in an open fireplace. The dancing flames can lift your spirits and melt away the most stressful day in a matter of minutes. But to truly be part of the home, a fireplace must warm our hearts even when there is no fire in the grate. Pearl does not treat the mantel as trim or molding but as a beautiful piece of furniture that is the focal point of the entire room, the emotional core. It represents roots, heritage, and tradition. Furniture is arranged around it, precious treasures are displayed on it, and it provides balance and stability to the entire room. Pearl Mantels features fine furniture quality, stunning details, and classic designs that will enhance any décor. The Shenandoah has a charming frontier flavor that will create a rustic atmosphere for any room. Hand-hewn edges and distressing enhance the natural beauty of the wood grain. This pine mantel shelf can be hung with or without corbels, which are packed separately. Paint and stain grade. Mitered hanger board assembly included for easy installation.

I would have given 5 stars because I really like these corbels, but there were some nicks and chips that I had to fill and sand before painting. Otherwise, these were exactly what I was looking for to use with my custom built fireplace mantel. Solid wood with a nice traditional design. Pictures show installed under the mantel I built, and are before and after being painted. I highly recommend!!. Stacy. Centreville, MD. Wed Aug 02 2023

Excellent quality! Nicely milled solid cedar rough sewn corbels. Smells wonderful! 12x4x12. We attached flush French cleats to hang a sycamore board with a live edge for a nice display shelf in our dining room. We have western red cedar beams and balcony railing in our old renovated farm house. These matched perfectly!! Rustic elegance . Tressie. Pensacola, FL. Tue Dec 03 2024

I returned these, but they are nice looking in person (I ended up using metal brackets instead to support my countertop bar). I chose the walnut color ones, and they did not appear to be walnut colored. Also, VERY important to know, in very fine print, it says that they are not returnable - even though on the same page on the website, in large capital letters, that all orders from Wayfair can be returned within 30 days. So beware of the return policy. I complained so I was allowed to return them, but beware.. Theresa. Denver, CO. Sun Nov 23 2025
