Great step stool. It took about an hour for me to assemble it. Someone used to assembling furniture could likely do it in 30 or 45 minutes. It’s a great piece. The color is fantastic and the folding feature allows you to easily tuck it into a pantry or closet. I will especially use this to rest on when I’m cooking and baking. The only negative is that during assembly, it was challenging to twist in some of the initial bolts and screws as my hands aren’t as strong as they were in my youth. This will be a Christmas gift, so I haven’t used this specific one yet, but it was a request by my daughter for her son because my other daughter has had this same model for a few years. They’ve been using it consistently since then, and she absolutely loves it! One of her sons loves to help in the kitchen, and this stool makes it so he can stand up and do things at the counter without risk of falling. Prior to that, her other son used it for a long time. She’s had it for about four years and it’s held up well. It’s sturdy and it looks like a nice piece of furniture in the room. The daughter who will receive this one has a son, going on 2, and loves to be held up to reach the counter to “help” his mom or dad. I can’t speak for this specific one that was just delivered since it won’t be used until after Christmas, but it was delivered on time. Nice stool. 24-inch height. The color [light brown] matches my cherry cabinets nicely. I discovered that the swivel steps were captive inside the legs after I got it assembled. I had to remove the top to free the steps and put the top back on with the steps sitting outside on the floor. Then the steps would swivel up to rest against the outside of top brace. It wouldn't have been a much bigger box to ship this assembled. Putting in 12 big screws with a hex wrench is time consuming.
