This is a very solid piece of furniture. Very well executed. The reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because the paint job wasn’t up to par. The doors need caulk and another coat of paint. I honestly think the cabinets are unfinished furniture and are painted per order. I’ve purchased many unfinished furniture pieces in the past and know what the quality should be. I’m definitely happy with my purchase but recommend the vendor take more time and care with finishing the cabinets. It is what it is. I was expecting a a little heavier piece. It’s crazy light. I guess solid wood means something different than it used to mean. It’s made of 12” and 14”plywood with some solid wood trim. At least it’s not particle board. The hinges are not soft close so the doors slam shut. Poor construction. Shelves fall out. I didn't have anything on the shelves and it fell to the bottom. The stain i ordered was described as brown, it's almost black. Several scratches on outside of cabinet also. The trim around the glass doors looks like someone applied ot with their feet. Not cut right and just stuck on. I'd rate it zero stars.. Debbie.
