Does the job, but the construction quality isn’t the best. Takes a lot of assembly (literally got blisters on my hand because I didn’t have a drill lol) and the drawer isn’t the smoothest. Happy with it for the price I paid.. Madison. Oakland, CA. Fri Sep 18 2026

The butcher block top and sturdy frame are engineered from solid wood to ensure long-time use. This finely crafted piece is perfect for anywhere you need a little extra storage or kitchen prep space.

Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. Also there were a couple of small nicks (minor) on the black wood, but decided to keep it since it’s a hassle to return. Overall pretty happy with the cart.. Lorette. Arvada, CO. Sat May 16 2026

Transform your kitchen into a warm, organized culinary space with this farmhouse kitchen island. Crafted with a durable, easy-to-clean oak-finish engineered wood top and crisp white frame, it adds instant character while solving two common kitchen headaches: lack of prep space and clutter.

This island is just okay. It takes quite a while to assemble, but all the holes aligned and the assembly instructions were thorough. It’s a solid, heavy piece! However, the shelves aren’t strong enough to support my cookbook collection and I had to place pots and pans there instead. The island top is a huge let down. I knew it wasn’t real wood when I purchased it, but they could at least have matched the fake wood grain on the two pieces to make it look better. Very disappointing!!. Pamela. Northville, MI. In giving this guy a 4 outta 5 because it's a great price point especially when they run a sale on it. Here is why it was missing a few screws and there is a bit of a crack in the lower board that makes up the small lower shelf. Over all though the counter top portion is very sturdy and has a good heft to it. I personally wanted add a counter top which I could prepare foods and possibly bread in the future it's a decent size so great for an apartment. It store items nicely at the bottom just do not use it for heavy duty items the top portion can also store a few items via a could of hooks or sitting something light above like maybe a few mixing bowls (plastic). You can always be creative in replacing screws if you need and really if it's just a mild crack in the wood it's not really noticable. I really like it and it's helped me gain some kitchen counter space!. Alexandria. Fri Oct 16 2026

Just what I was looking for! Really nice quality piece for the price and fits my space perfectly. Fairly straight forward assembly, a bit heavy so would be easier with two people. I used a drill which saved a lot of time. Took about 1 12 hours. There is a support piece that comes down from the top of the table a bit, so if you want stool that slide all the way under, opt for something 29 inches shorter (mine pictured are about 26 inches).
