8/10, an absolute WIN! One piece of the table has a dent in it due to shipping and handling. I put a vase on top of it to hide it. Wayfair gave a me a small % of a refund due to the dent. I paid for the professional assembly Wayfair offers, and it took him 3.5 hours to assemble. TONS of pieces, and the instruction manual is crucial! It has plenty of space, is aesthetically pleasing, and gives my kitchen the luxury upgrade I desire. It has two drawers that don’t have the lock when you extend it, so I have to be careful when opening it. I even added books where some would put spices, so I am loving the dual purpose. Had to order twice. The unit is shipped in two boxes and one of the boxes didn't show up. I was told a replacement was not available. Seems like a waste of resources as I was told to discard of the box I received with the first order. We are handy people, it took about three hours to assemble. One of the drawer pilot holes were not correctly placed and we had to drill new holes. The unit comes with a generous bag of extra hardware but the one piece we needed was not included. We improvised with something we got at a local hardware store. Unit seems sturdy, not sure how the countertop will wear. Had company over today and received compliments. It is a nice style. This island is beautiful and great quality at a decent price. Is just what i needed for my studio apartment and provides me extra storage and counter space. Instructions were overall clear. Was not difficult to build but it did take me about 6 hours to put together because I did it alone. Would have been much easier if I had another pair of hands helping.
