I received these stools through Wayfair’s tride and true program. Overall, I am very happy and would probably purchase them even for the current retail price (on sale for 183.99) They are even more pretty in person. The walnut wood back shell is gorgeous and so much more rich in person. The photos online show an almost dark espresso brown wood but it is a walnut. The marks on the leather are also different in person, with slightly more lightdark spots and less marbling looking spots like the listing photos. I prefer the in-person leather. The cushion underneath sounds cheap (you can hear the air compressing and some cracking like a cheap foam) but I don’t even care because they are comfy! They were also super easy to put together. I only had one issue with a back brace not aligning with the hole but I took it out and re-tried and it aligned itself. Overall, very happy and super excited to bring these over to my new place.. I ordered three of these, two as a pair and one individually. These stools are very nice quality and were not hard to put together. However, I made the mistake of ordering them based on the front seat width, which is 19.2 inches wide, instead of looking at the backrest measurement which is 22.4, or 3.2 wider. Unfortunately my counter is only abou 64 long and these counterstools exceed the width due to the very wide backrests. The backrests actually touch each other. So, the backs of the chairs make it tough to fit 3 of them at the counter, and the two on the end actually overhang the length of the counter by a couple inches. In other words, I have a 60 counter but the chairs take up 67 inches, so they are really too wide for my counter due solely to the backrests which are much wider than the seat or front of the stool. They are all put together, so I am not going to return them and they do look nice, but had I been aware of how wide they were I would not have ordered these as they are just too big. I was looking for a lower profile stool that still had good back support and these were it! They are cushy and soft and supportive. They were the perfect color as well. My only wish is that they had foot rests on the sides as well, but that's because I'm used to that now. One cushion has a small gouge that would have split more as we sat on it, so I requested a replacement and Wayfiar was so quick to respond! We had a replacement within the week.
