Received quickly and in great condition. Will update review once installed. Update - Looks great! Installation was a little fussy, but that was because there were no studs where I needed to put the brackets. I had to get some drywall anchors and the local hardware store didn’t have any that the included screws would work with, so I had to get slightly smaller screws. The only difference is that the heads of the screws don’t fill the space in the brackets as well. It’s really not noticeable though, so not a big deal. Our contractor still has to install some trim underneath the bar and said he’ll fix the extra holes for me when he does that. My barstools are much more comfortable now that there’s a place to put my feet!. Karyl. VA. Fri Nov 22 2024

Designed with an oak cradle frame that holds the tabletop above with exposed joint details on the shelf and legs below for a benchmade look and feel. Crafted from oak with iron accents.

It’s a substantial piece of furniture. I like the color and I like the dimensions. I wish that it had come in one piece and not had to be put together, but I’m sure it was too big to ship. My only other qualm is the drawers… They’re not soft close and you have to push them in and then give them another hard push to get them to close completely. Although is labeled a kitchen island, I use it as a buffet. Sam K. Gilbert, SC. Wed May 13 2026

Great buy for the price! This piece was delivered quickly in 2 heavy boxes. Yes, 2 adults are needed to move and assemble. First impression efficiently and safely packaged. I could see right away that I liked the colorwood grain pattern of the product, and the (many) pieces looked well-made with smooth edges. Tons of hardware included. Next, we used the team approach to confirm all pieces where included—one called out part number, the other checked it off on the instructions. Speaking of instructions these are very well done. Typically, I see a self-assemble product like this and I’m CERTAIN I won’t be able to do this. With this product, the instruction booklet is long, detailed and made up primarily of pictures showing how each section is put together. The steps are over-explained through these drawings, making it very clear how each step goes together. These were some of the clearest instructions I’ve ever worked with! The wood pieces went together smoothly. Using the diagram instructions to ensure we had everything oriented properly (are all the holes matching the diagram, etc.) worked really well. The insane number of hardware pieces led to an incredibly sturdy construction. Everything went together exactly as described in the instruction booklet. All pre-drilled holes lined up, we even had extra screws and other hardware in case of a misplaced or broken piece. This took 2 adults 3 full hours to assemble. One of us is extremely mechanically inclined, the other is good at organizing and checking off vompleted strps. The final product is sturdy and good looking. For the price, the engineered wood is nicely priced. I’m happy with this island!. Teressa. MI. Sun Oct 11 2026
