I keep walking by this sideboard buffet cabinet and keep falling in love each time!!! I adore this cabinet! It looks soo beautiful in my dining room, I wonder why I waited so long! The piece is VERY heavy. I was not able to push or pull the box in house, I had to unpack the box outside and bring each piece in separately. It took about an hour to assemble. I didnt need any tools, it came with everything I needed. Pay attention to the directions, there are alot, but it goes quick and easy, the doors dont sit perfectly when you first put them on, the directions show you how you adjust them to perfection AFTER you assemble them. Super easy peesy, just a little heavy, but nothing I couldnt work around. It really made my empty, dull dining room become something that makes me smile. I would recommend this sideboard 1000%!!!. This island is beautiful and great quality at a decent price. Is just what i needed for my studio apartment and provides me extra storage and counter space. Instructions were overall clear. Was not difficult to build but it did take me about 6 hours to put together because I did it alone. Would have been much easier if I had another pair of hands helping. It feels substantial and sturdy, and the shelving underneath gives us tons of extra storage. Assembly took about 2 hours with two people, but the instructions were straightforward and the finished product was definitely worth the time. It is not real wood, so I would be careful with the surface—I wouldn’t place hot pans directly on it or set drinks down without a coaster. That said, it looks and feels like a much more expensive piece of furniture once assembled. We are using ours as a homeschool craft and project table, and it is PERFECT for that!
