My husband put this together today, I love it. It did take quite a few hours, but the end result is worth it! When the doors are closed you cannot see the things that are in the middle of the shelf so I moved things to the side. The doors close smoothly, the color is exactly as pictured and the white makes the room brighter. I put glassware on all the shelves and using the bottom drawer for tablecloths and placemats. This ended up being perfect for the space and a good deal for the price. Comes in two heavy boxes, but I had a hand truck to move them from the sidewalk to the kitchen, so I could by manage myself. I also put it together by myself, and it took a hot minute (multiple hours....hard to measure because I took mental breaks), but it wasn't hard. The pieces were all there, it wasn't confusing, just predictably tedious. Worth every second to gain the extra drawers and cabinet space. If i had a complaint, it's the the backside looks like exactly what it is (just the cheap panel), but it's no different than pictured plus it's where the barstools go anyway if you're worried about it. I love this island!! So much storage!! And the power strip is awesome!! The color of the countertop didn’t work so I wrapped it with a peel stick marble look countertop vinyl paper.
