This cart is just the right size for a small “kitchen island” it’s a landing spot when I’m pulling multiple items out of the refrigerator and a good place to set up drinks or plates and utensils when we are entertaining. We installed the wheels instead of the bun feet so we can move it out of the kitchen when needed. I’m using it to store cutting boards, baking pans and containers for leftovers. We ordered the rolling island in white with stainless top. It was a bear to assemble, but we got it done. I chose this one because the wheels are hidden. It’s a lovely cabinet from the front and adds storage in the kitchen. It moves easily, sometimes too easily. The things I’m not crazy about are the back of the cabinet has panels that are secured with plastic tabs and screws. If you’re using this as an island, just know that they will show. The top is thin metal that scratches easily and shows EVERY handfingerprint. The top MUST have a towel etc under a cutting board to protect it. Beautiful island especially for the price! It took me 40 mins to put together alone and 9 months pregnant, but for any regular person it would take much less time! The stainless steel is obviously not heavy duty and I see it getting scratched in the very near future but that doesn’t bother me, especially at the price point it’s at.
