The process of the instructions seems informative enough though they were torn. Much better instructions than some other companies provide. This island is beautiful and great quality at a decent price. Is just what i needed for my studio apartment and provides me extra storage and counter space. Instructions were overall clear. Was not difficult to build but it did take me about 6 hours to put together because I did it alone. Would have been much easier if I had another pair of hands helping. Solid, good finish to the wood, looks great, but the instructions are terrible. Instructions are pictures only, and it's not clear what they are trying to indicate. The videos I found for this exact product are for different style of attachment, so not helpful. I have put together many of these types of furniture.
