Originally, I was enticed by a special offer on a model similar with stainless steel interior, which is what I wanted. Then GE took that price away after I slept on it. Then I ordered this one not realizing it was plastic inside. Be careful when ordering appliances and if you see a price you like, grab it! Do not sleep on it or you may lose out. For that, I am angry. .Then came the delivery kerfuffle. I was not communicated with a proper delivery date and was surprised by a call stating they'd be here in 15 minutes! When I did get the dishwasher, the instructions were only fair. The toughest part of installing myself was getting it into position properly. I didn't get very good assistance from the GE delivery company and was not impressed with Wayfair's help when I first realized I could not get the one I wanted. All in all, however, this dishwasher performs very well and has the safety auto-shutoff I was looking for since I've had bad luck with prior dishwashers, especially Bosch!. Ron. Toms River, NJ. After an exhaustive search we found this perfect ZLINE microwave to put in the corner of our new kitchen next to the pantry. This is an OTR model but it can be mounted as we did. It convenient yet out of the way, not taking up counters pace. We didn't care for the microwave in a drawer, so this was the fix. The tubular handle matched other appliances. My only thought was I wished the handle matched. For some reason it's shiny chrome on a stainless trimmed front? You don't notice as it's in the corner, but we did wonder. It fits way more than we expected and we can load full dinner sets with bigger pots and pans without having to play Tetris. The rack layout makes it easier to organize everything and nothing tips over or shifts around. Performance has been solid everytime even with heavier meals, the dishes come out spotless. The auto open dry feature actually makes a difference too since everything comes out dry and ready to put away. It also runs really quiet which I love! It is well built with a stainless steel interior but unfortunately the outside seems like it can but scratched up so be careful! Although it isn’t a big deal to us since it’s just cosmetic. I purchased the LG LDTS5552S dishwasher and have experienced a persistent chemical odor since the beginning of ownership. The smell is difficult to describe precisely, but it resembles heated rubber, vinyl, petroleum products, or synthetic plastic. The odor becomes stronger as the dishwasher heats up and appears to be emitted from the lower vent area. The problem occurs even during normal operation without using the High Temp or Extra Dry settings. Over the past year I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps, including cleaning the filters repeatedly, running cycles without detergent, using dishwasher cleaning cycles, and removing additional plastic accessories from inside the machine. None of these actions resolved the issue. The dishes themselves do not retain the odor, but the heated air emitted by the dishwasher does. The smell is strong enough to travel beyond the kitchen and can sometimes be noticed on the second floor of the house. After more than a year of trying to live with this issue, I have stopped using the dishwasher altogether and returned to washing dishes by hand because I am not comfortable having my family continuously exposed to the odor. What concerns me most is that this odor appears whenever the appliance is heated, suggesting that materials inside the unit may be releasing volatile compounds into the air. I do not know whether LG has evaluated the long-term impact of breathing these emissions during routine daily use, but I believe this is a legitimate concern that deserves attention. I am disappointed because otherwise the dishwasher performs well. If LG is aware of this issue or has a solution, I would genuinely appreciate a response. Had it a year, it's still working so that's a plus. It somehow seems smaller inside than our previous one, which fitted in the same space. The utensil holder is a little difficult to put silverware in initially as it has a grid on the top ( removable) but it works great to keep water spots off. The cool thing is the dishwasher pops open at the end of the cycle to allow the steam to escape and that means unlike other model, the dishes actually dry. On the other hand, it doesn't clean baked on food well at all, and it seems to tip forward when the racks are pulled out. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars for that reason. My husband and I are building a cabin! I spent months looking for a fridge to fit the smaller space. This fridge is perfect! It is tall and has plenty of room for our cold items, I would highly recommend this item to people looking to purchase a refrigerator for smaller spaces The freezer is a little small. I’ve tried all the modes and buttons all the different washes and I can honestly say this is a great dishwasher.. but it’s not perfect. Let’s start with my I love.. it’s quiet.. it’s powerful.. a one hour wash is in most cases sufficient and I love that it opens at the end of the wash, so the steam comes out and the dishes dry nicely. What I don’t like is the interior organization and the way door closes. The interior racks are not spaced out properly for maximum loading.
