Our Softer Than Soft Coma Inducer collection consists of varying fabrics that have one important thing in common; they are irresistibly soft to the touch. Softness levels that break the barrier on what you previously considered soft!! Some of our Softer Than Soft comforters are even created with Double Sided Plush. This doesn't mean that there is just plush on both sides of the comforter, that is something all Coma Inducers already have in common, rather, it's the backing of the plush that you can't feel. You see, most backing (the portion facing the inner filling) is not plush because it's never going to be seen or touched. Making that backing plush would add costs, but sometimes when creating something that is softer than soft you need to break the rules. At Coma Inducer, we've been known for having oversized plush comforters. We've broken the barriers on softness levels, size levels (160" x 160"!), and now thickness levels!! Dam Boi, the thick is not just a thick comforter; it's a bedding experience unlike anything you've ever seen, felt, or imagined. Touting a 1400 gsm fill rate doesn't just break our record; it shatters it!! To give you some perspective, the typical coma inducer has a 280 gsm fill rate, and most, if not all, other coma inducers are under 400 gsm. So when we add an extra 1000 gsm in fill weight, you know this is a thick boi. What makes this coma inducer even more impressive is that we didn't use just any filling. We used grade polyester with a blow-in technique to create a down alternative feel. Each square is like an overfilled, squishy plush stuffed animal. This is a beautiful comforter set. The comforter seems well made and it's a perfect medium weight. I got the blue/gray combo and the blue is a beautiful aqua color - just like it's shown in the picture (and just what I was hoping for). The seams on the shams are not very sturdy and I ripped one while inserting a standard size pillow. I also wish the shams were a mirror image, so each of openings faced the outside of the bed. I used the included pillow cases to make pillow covers for 18x18 inserts. The color of the round pillow and the text on the lumbar pillow are more of a powder blue, so they don't really match.
