It was more than expected (with a couple small issues). The dark green color is bold and looks exactly like the color presented online. The velvet side is soft, smooth to the touch and very comfortable. The other side is soft as well. However, I sleep with the velvet side showing on the bed, because it just looks nicer than the reverse side. Two minor cons is that it is a little on the smaller side. I ordered a king for my king size bed and it fits, but I like my comforters to hang much lower thank this one. This could use more material by a few square inches. I measured it against my old king size comforter and this one is smaller than my previous comforter by about 4 inches. The other con is that it looks fluffier and thicker in the picture than what it actually is - it's thinner than the picture.
