Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. Note the side slats are low to the ground with only a couple inches of clearance so storing things under the bed is not an option. But we're very happy with our purchase.. Jennifer. Saint Louis, MO. This platform sleigh bed grounds your bedroom in old-world classic style and extra storage. It's made from solid and engineered wood in a natural, rich hue. The rectangular sleigh headboard features three sections of picture frame molding that make it easy to arrange accent pillows directly in the center. We love that it comes with a whopping six built-in drawers that offer storage for linens, blankets, or clothes. This bed has center legs that provide additional support. Best of all, a box spring isn't required, so all you have to do is add the mattress of your choice (sold separately). Pick it up on its own or with the matching set (based on availability).

Welcome some classic style into your bedroom with this low-profile sleigh bed. It's made of solid alder wood in a cognac finish that shows off the wood's natural grain. This bed features a gently curved headboard and footboard. Plus, molded details and turned block feet add traditional touches. We love how the neutral hue and design of this bed works with any color bedding you'd like to add. And it's compatible with an adjustable bed so you can customize the comfort level. You'll need to add a box spring and mattress of your choice (sold separately), but a slat kit is included.

This is a gorgeous, high quality piece of furniture. Overall, I am very satisfied. However, there are 2 sets of holes in the headboard where the side rails attach. Since we had to use the innermost set of holes, the outermost set of holes show, past the side rails, which looks a bit tacky. Luckily, they are not really noticeable from a distance, and bedding will help hide the extra holes.. Wendy. White Bear Lake, MN. Mon Jun 02 2025

The Friel Bed embodies a marriage of sustainability and timeless design. Crafted from reclaimed solid wood sourced from diverse origins, this bed stands as an eco-friendly marvel, contributing to the responsible use of natural resources. The naturally timeworn appearance, marked by nail and bolt holes, bug holes, water and mineral staining, checking, and open knots, tells a story unique to each piece. The strength of reclaimed wood, seasoned through years of service, is reinforced with a finger-joining technique, allowing the creation of the hallmark long planks of the Friel. The multi-step finish, featuring a rustic brown with gray undertones and charcoal glazing, enhances the heavily distressed look. The gracefully curved headboard offers pillow propping ease for bedtime reading, while the sturdy 400-pound capacity footboard seating bench provides a practical spot for daily routines. Compliant with safety standards and backed by a 1-year limited warranty, this bed offers rustic comfort and peace of mind, reflecting a commitment to both style and safety.

The bed is sturdy, and looks as pictured. It was delivered in a few pieces and required assembly on site, but it wasn’t so bad. That said, the manufacturer assembly instructions were sparse and the side boards were a different part number than the slats were intended to pair with, so we had to modify some of the assembly which was a little frustrating. Still a good product overall and I’m happy with it. Caitlyn. Pleasant Grove, UT. Tue Jul 07 2026
