My wife and I(58 and 60yo) were able to separate the two king bed frame sections at the three hinge points with a metric ratchet and wrench and unplug three quick disconnects in order to half the weight to 100lbs each and bring them up a flight of stairs, then reconnect everything on the second floor, this process saved our backs and cost us an extra fifteen minutes tops. Installation was super simple and the remote was already paired to the frame. I have a guest room where I pushed two twin beds, and mattresses together to create a king bed. I got a strap to push the mattresses together, but there was still a 6-7" gap in the middle caused by the bed frames. That caused a divot in the middle of the bed. Problem solved with this bed board. I've ordered the twin size mattress frame for my daybed at home and it's great. .very sturdy for my memory foam mattress. The only issue is that it's a bit narrow and it may have been better to have gotten a bunkie board instead. I wanted something that would give additional height and stability for the mattress which is why I ordered it. Would definitely recommend but would order for regular bed frame in the future.
