They don't describe the color in the description and when I zoomed in I thought they looked more burnished bronze. In person they are definitely copper like a penny. I just got the headboard and it is beautiful. We are very pleased with our order. We went with the open box option for the savings. I needed to make sure the headboard was free from defects and that all the hardware was there which it was. This headboard is very nice and looks expensive. It makes the room look great. The fabric is nice and soft. The color is great and as described. The only issue is the way to mount it was not easy and we ended up just having to press it up against the wall and use dry wall screws. It would not fit into our king size tempurperic bed frame. We have not had issues before with previous headboards so this was annoying. It ended up working out the way we did it but still frustrating. I do appreciate that it’s wood though and not metal. We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base.
