The online description only included the length of this bedspread. Through Chat the customer support gave me both length and width of queen, king, and California king. With this information I was able to determine that I wanted a queen size for my king bed as a coverlet; I turned it sideways and it fits perfectly. I'm very impressed with the lightweightness of this spread, just what we wanted. It also is very soft. I chose the blush color and it is a very subtle color and we like it very much. A large Jacobean floral design graces our Chelsea matelasse fabric, for an addition of traditional elegance to any bedroom.

A beautiful piece. Know that the length works IF you don't tuck in the spread under pillows. Width is not sufficient to cover both sides equally to the floor. This could be a function of our king mattress being tall, however. The width is not a problem, however, since only one side of the bed faces the entrance to the bedroom. Color: We got the gold/burgundy. Gold is the operative word, and in certain light, the color is more like a paper bag. In retrospect, we should have chosen the off-white or the brown. To get more variation in the color and to see a little of the burgundy, I flipped the spread on upside down. Now, I can see more variation in the color and a LITTLE of the burgundy. Exceeded my expectations. It is a lovely bedspread of superior quality. The scalloped edging lends a touch of elegance. The matelassé quilted stitching is subtle and beautiful. Its a bit heavier than I expected but I'm very pleased with it. The 100% cotton is soft and very comfortable. The style fits so wonderfully with my 19th century bedroom furnishings. I love the Matelasse Bedspread. The quality is exceptional and feels so soft and comfortable. The color is pretty and will fit in with my bedroom decor.
