This bed is a great piece of furniture. I love that it is solid wood. It matches my current bedroom furniture perfectly. While the instructions seemed simple enough to assemble, a couple of pieces did not fit together well and I had to order replacement parts. Once I received those it was fairly simple to assemble but I would suggest having a rubber mallet as some of the parts fit very tightly together. This bed is worth buying. Got it in the black full and white queen. Love the look and was easy to assemble. Had to request another piece because of damaged piece on the black bed. The white bed had the same piece damaged but not as noticeable as the black one so I believe they need to changed the way it is packaged to ensure the piece is not damaged.
