This bed is beautiful, super tall, and sturdy! The only reason I’m rating it 4 stars is because the bed comes with a distressed texture that is not specified in the listing - nor can you see from the pics provided. Love the bed, just wish it was a smooth, cohesive texture without the sanded edges and dings. Overall great purchase!. Anna. Spindale, NC. Sat Jul 25 2026

This elegant and classic solid wood bed brings your bedroom timeless elegance and retro charm. Crafted from high-quality wood, the platform bed’s sturdy frame and multiple support slats ensure reliable support. WORKS WITH AN ADJUSTABLE BASE! I was so excited to find a beautiful bed frame that was compatible with my adjustable base! It’s well made, sturdy, and was fairly easy to put together. It also comes with the pieces needed to support a mattress if you don’t have an adjustable base, which is a great bonus. I absolutely love the color and finish—it looks gorgeous in my room and feels much more expensive than it is. Exactly what I was looking for!. Sidney. Oriental, NC. Mon Sep 28 2026

The perfect foundation for a traditional bedroom, this bed is just the anchor that your bedroom or guest bedroom needs. Made in Malaysia from engineered wood and hardwood solids, it showcases a warm, dark brown finish that's sure to blend in with your existing color scheme. This bed showcases a subtle sleigh-style headboard for a stylish touch that's echoed in its matching footboard. A box spring is required: Add one and your favorite mattress, then accent the bed with your favorite linens.

My 80 year old Aunt loves her new bed in her new apartment in South Carolina. Furnishing with Wayfair has been easy and affordable. I love shopping your online store.❤️❤️❤️. Sheila. Edison, NJ. Sat Aug 15 2026

Some furniture just sits in a room. The Brixton runs it. Made entirely of solid pine wood, this king bed leans into its four-poster roots — hand-turned finial posts, a gracefully arched headboard, and a scalloped footboard that reads part farmhouse, part heirloom. It's a lot of presence for one piece of furniture, in the best way. Skip the box spring — the Brixton ships with 13 solid wood slats and 3 central support legs for sturdy, ready-to-sleep support straight out of the box. Built to support up to 560 lbs, it's made for actual everyday life, not just showroom photos. The wood is FSC certified and sourced from renewable forests. Available in a rich Walnut finish or a modern matte Black, the Brixton is CARB/TSCA Title VI certified and meets California 93120 formaldehyde emission standards. Assembly takes about 60 minutes with two people.

The dimensions listed in the photo are wrong!!! It is not 84" high. Refer to dimensions in the listing under 'Specifications' instead. I ordered this because I wanted a high poster bed. Thankfully I caught the discrepancy before unpackaging and assembling everything. Super disappointing though because we waited for it and it won't even work for our needs so have to return it.. Take inspiration from the traditional luxury of this poster bed. Classic with a rich cherry brown finish, its stately presence graces your room with an air of opulence. Your taste for exquisite details is satisfied with the headboard’s ornate accent filigree. With an elegantly crafted footboard completing the look, your restful retreat has never been so refined.

With Wayfair, you never know what you're going to get, but this bed is nicer than we were expecting! The headboard and footboard are solid wood and the sides slide in easily. Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. Note the side slats are low to the ground with only a couple inches of clearance so storing things under the bed is not an option. But we're very happy with our purchase.. Jennifer. Saint Louis, MO. Love the sturdiness for my daughter’s room. However the staining on the lighter color almost makes it look dirty around certain edges, i’m not sure if that was intentional for a “driftwood color”. We saw the bed originally in the Atlanta showroom and did not notice the discoloration!. Katie. Mount Pleasant, SC. Sun Oct 04 2026

I like the way it looks; it is beautiful, but it has an odor that will probably go away eventually. We bought the entire bed set, and it said it can cause cancer, according to a California statement. I did not like this part, but I presume it has on most things these days.. John. Fri Jul 10 2026
