Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. This is a gorgeous, high quality piece of furniture. Overall, I am very satisfied. However, there are 2 sets of holes in the headboard where the side rails attach. Since we had to use the innermost set of holes, the outermost set of holes show, past the side rails, which looks a bit tacky.
