I am very happy with this wooden box. It really looks impressive. I keep this on a side table in the kitchen. Love the vintage look. My husband takes many medicines and I wanted something decorative to keep them in. I have no idea why this item is described as "tan." It is a warm golden color that goes well with the golden oak in my room. My only concern is how it is packaged. This wooden box is inside a cardboard box that is inside an outer carboard box. Packing tape holds both boxes sealed on the top. Getting the outer box open is easy. However, when attempting to open the inner box, DO NOT USE A BLADE IN THE CENTER OF THAT PACKING TAPE. It looks as pictured and the woodwork is fine. HOWEVER THE TOXIC FUMES WERE UNBELIEVABLE. We aired it out to no avail. We removed the inside fabric and scrubbed down the inside, but the adhesive that was used had penetrated the entire inside wood. Its fumes were so strong that they had even penetrated the outer bottom wood of the box. There should absolutely be a warning in the description! We used bamboo charcoal deodorizers packs on the inside, too, and the fumes ruined them. Ultimately we had to THROW THE BOX OUT. Approx. $100 gone.
