Heads up: there are a lot of pieces, so definitely give yourself some time to put it together. That said, it’s super easy and straightforward nothing complicated, just a bit time consuming. The size is perfect for a 4–5 year old, but it also feels like something she’ll grow into and use for years, not something she’ll outgrow in a few months. One of my biggest concerns when buying kids’ furniture is quality. So many children’s vanities are made with flimsy plastic or poorly constructed materials that barely survive a few months. Packaged very well and no damage upon arrival. Easy and well put together. Perfect for a little girl's first vanity. I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter. The chair height is perfect for her to see in the mirror. Lights have 3 settings. When you plug the lights in to the back you need to go underneath and be careful to not bend any of the little pins.
