Easy assembly (2-person job). Good quality materials. We like the simplicity of the design, and the very roomy lower area - this unencumbered space gives us many options! We've already tried it as a play area, a sleepover space (a twin mattress fits parallel to the upper bunk), and a kid's lounge area using a cb2 piazza apartment sofa. The bed is shaky, yes, but not any more than expected. We think it's as steady as you can get with a structural design like this. All in all, we are happy with this purchase, and with Wayfair's service!. Brooklynelle. New York, NY. Mon Jan 28 2019

Perfect for shared bedrooms, sleepovers, and kids who love imaginative play, this house-style bunk bed maximizes vertical space while keeping everything neatly organized.

The bed arrives in 3 heavy boxes. The directions are not as clear as building LEGOs, but we were able to follow them. There are a lot of pieces, so it took quite a few hours to assemble. Some of the pieces were scuffed and slightly damaged upon arrival, but not bad enough that we wanted them to be replaced. The bed is large and heavy when it's completely done, so make sure you have it where you want it as you complete the last few steps. The light in the shelf is cool, but the controls to turn it on/off are kind of weird, and the instructions suggest putting it in a place that you can't reach once the bed is assembled, so that doesn't make any sense. Overall, a pretty nice bed for the price, but definitely an investment in time/energy putting it together.. Anonymous. Tue Aug 18 2026

Overall pleased with this choice. Construction took 4.5 hours, but the directions were clear and provided both in paper and digital forms. The materials quality is a little lower than I’d prefer, and we will stick well below the max weight limit to be safe. It appears to be adequate for the kids who will sleep here. The shelves will work well for small items or books displayed forward they are not deep enough to hold books with the binding outward-facing. Cute design that elicited squeals of delight from my children and should function to meet their needs well for several years.. Whitney. Sun Sep 13 2026
