We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. This fan came nicely packaged. I’d say the color of the rattan is a bit lighter than the product photos. Also, I noticed that the white paint on the inner pieces is sort of streakynot fully covering. There was also some white paint on that middle clear plastic piece that flaked off when I touched it. I still plan to install, but I docked it a star for some of these details. I was expecting the blades to look more natural. They are plastic and they look like plastic. Everything else is metal and high end. The fan works perfectly and so does the light.
