It took me three and a half hour to build, granted I was building it alone as a solo female. There was a period where the screws would not screw in to assemble both parts together, it was so frustrating and because of that I was stuck in the same step for over an hour. It must’ve been the manufacturers problem since I was reading the instructions correctly and the screws just won’t go in. Absolutely beautiful in person. Very easy to build, took me about an hour before work. Used in my son’s room. The blue is a wonderful shade suitable for boys and girls. It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed.
