We are so happy with this playhouse! Our daughter is 2 (almost 2.5) and has been absolutely obsessed with it since the day we set it up. The pizza oven and grill are such cute features and honestly what sold us — she loves “cooking” for everyone and serving little pizzas all day long. The working doorbell was also such a fun surprise and adds a really interactive touch that keeps her entertained. There are so many little details that make it feel extra special without being overwhelming. It took a few hours to setup but was overall fairly easy. The size is great too — big enough for imaginative play without taking over the whole yard. It feels sturdy, looks adorable, and has already become the main event every time we go outside. Looks as good at home as it is in photos and we were able to build it without professional help. We added a few reinforcement pieces because it seems fairly light and I am a little worried that it will not hold up over the years. The kids are 2 and 4 years old so hopefully it will last. Great Playhouse! The directions on the other hand were terrible… My husband has a lot of experience in building, and this took about eight hours in total to put together due to the poor instructions. The Playhouse itself however, is great. My son really loves it. It feels sturdy for the most part, but my husband does intend to put three more two by fours under the main floor for additional security because it does feel a bit rickety in some places. I would not however call this unsafe as it does support him, myself, and our child with no issue. The floorboards just bend a little as you walk over them, which makes us a little nervous.
