It took two of us because the way it was constructed, one person had to hold the pieces while the other put the screws in or else the pieces wouldn’t line up right for the screws to go in all the way. Once we got them together, I really liked how they looked and fit in our space. They are comfortable however, you can definitely feel the braces underneath. I plan on getting a memory foam pad to cut to size and put under the cushion in hopes I can’t feel them as much. The image also makes it seem like you sit up more than you actually do. When leaning back against the cushion, you are semi-lying down. We needed to put a firm pillow behind our back to be in a more upright, sitting position. This is a great product but unfortunately I did not receive the instructions when I received this product and Wayfair went above and beyond to try to get the instructions from the company that made this item but was unable to do so. Therefore, I am still trying to find a way to get the correct instructions so I can safely install this adorable hanging swing for my kids.
