These folding hammock camping chairs have a very heavy duty base to hold some real weight. The fabric of the chair seems well made and very durable. When getting in and out of the chair it kind of flops around so you have to keep adjusting. When adding the footrest its difficult to get into and out and when putting your feet up you need to find the right adjustment leaning back so it doesn't lean to far forward. But it works well as a sitting upright chair. Even my 67 year old mother in law was able to get in and out of it and said she liked it as she could easily rock in it. This chair is almost exactly what I was looking for! The framework and chair material are very sturdy and the extras are a nice convenience: cup holder, cooler bag, and zippered storage on the backside. The chair is also easy to unfold or close for storage. The seat is quite wide and comfortable for all sizes ...especially large people! It is also a normal distance from the ground, making it easy to sit down and to stand up without struggling to do so! The backrest is high enough that you can rest your head against it, but I found that it reclines just a bit too much, requiring that I place a 4 inch thick pillow behind my back for proper upright support!
