I assembled item myself. It took about 1 hr and directions were clear and easy to follow. This is pressboard with a veneer. The quality seems good for the price My main concern is that the finish is supposed to be cherry, but it looks more like espresso. My other cherry furniture is somewhat lighter with red-tones. Delivered on time and in good shape. All parts were well labeled and included. Instructions are picture only with no words so make sure that you are paying close attention when putting things together. But it put together easily and love how it looks as an end result.
