Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. I read reviews and was pretty intimidated when I started building, but everything went well. I had all of the correct parts, and I found the directions clear. It's cute I guess. The assembly is horrible. Takes forever so be prepared. Some pieces were damaged but Wayfair did send new ones except they sent the whole bed again so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with that. Overall, this bed is great for a kid. The metal frame makes it super sturdy and I think it will last a long time. The lights are a fun touch and you can control them via a phone app. Lights are dimmable.
