Everything perfect. Shopping was easy, lowest price, Quick shipping. It doesn't get any better than that. This is our second unit. We had one on the front door and loved it. I bought this for the back door. Many reviewers were disappointed that it didn't have a key lock in case the battery failed. Well, that is intentional to stop people from entering with a bump key. I figured that it was very unlikely for two locks to have battery failures at the same time so I was safe installing this one. But to my surprise, they have improved it by giving you jump battery pins that will allow you to operate the lock even when the battery is dead by using a 9 V battery in your hand and holding it up to the pins. What an upgrade!! We went with brushed nickel and it is so classically beautiful- the kind of set that just never goes out of style. My husband handled the install again and it was just as easy as the other Kwikset handles we have installed. The build feels really substantial, and the lever operation is incredibly smooth. But honestly what really won my heart was the finish itself, it’s exceptionally smooth and polished looking, way better than most brushed nickel finishes I’ve seen. No rough edges, pitts or inconsistencies, just completely smooth and refined. Timeless and classic. I have several of the Boulder Arched Electronic Deadbolts. We purchased as they were able to accommodate a thick door. I did have a turn-knob on the inside loosen after about six months and Wayfair did replace. You can only set two codes in this particular lock but very easy to change the codes.. Kristyl.
