Got this beautiful black velvet electric recliner sofa and its absolutely amazing. It took some time to assemble each seat with its own motor but not difficult. Comes with a remote control to pull out all the 3 seats to make a bed or individual for reclining. The sofa arrived in 2 boxes. It is shrink wrapped. So once assembled it takes 3 days to fully inflate properly. It is comfortable enough. I purchased a 3 inch topper to put on top when using it as a guest bed. I don’t think it would be comfortable enough without the topper. For the price point it’s adequate. No real complaints.. I already own a mattress from them and have been extremely satisfied with the quality and comfort. I purposely sought out Stearns Foster to see if they even offered sleep sofas. I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. Love the Quaility and modular construction. Very easy to put together. Day 2 of delivery and still see a little sign of compression on back cushions but expect that to decompress with time. The microfiber material seen very good in Quaility. My only minor issue was a few springs on the pull out had fallen out and need to be reinstalled but nothing after that. I would recommend it. Great construction and really good sofa. Feels very comfortable and the fold out bed is also very sturdy. Only downsides would be that it is a really wide sofa with just 2 seats instead of 3 and the fact that the mattress is a little thin to allow to fit into the enclosure. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area.
