I had very specific criteria I was looking for in an everyday table. I wanted a pedestal base, an oval or round top with a leaf, cream/off-white with a dark wood top. it either had to match my existing chairs or have chairs without fabric. I also had a budget in mind. I know I'm extremely picky. I have been looking on and off for the right table for almost 4 years. Even after I order the table I texted my husband and said I'm probably going to hate it. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived unexpectedly early on Saturday morning and we put it together easily. 2 bolts per foot and 4 bolts for the top. nothing was damaged in shipping and the table is an almost perfect match to the existing pieces in the room. The base is a little more on the white/gray side then cream but in the shade of the table its not noticeable. We will most likely always have the leaf in but the mechanism worked fine and everything fit together well and it feels sturdy. Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. This table is literally so gorgeous. It’s a super simple design but the elements like the wood pattern on the top of the table really make it stand out. Because it’s so simple, it will go with any style, ours is costal modern and it fit right in. It took us no more than 10 minutes to put together and it is a sturdy piece. We have used it only a couple of days so far but it’s been easy to clean and wipe down and is so solid that it doesn’t budge when my toddler tries to climb on it and push it around like he did our last table. First table came with a sizable dent in the side edge, repackaged and got a replacement. Second table was in better shape other than a completely broken leg. Between the two we had 1 good table. Absolutely beautiful table—great quality for the price! I’d give the table itself 5 stars, but the shipping experience was terrible. It arrived in two separate pieces one came early, while the second arrived late, damaged, and missing hardware. The replacement tabletop also took forever to arrive and still had a few small dings and scratches. Rather than go through the replacement process again, I’m just going to live with it.
