Great and beautiful product, but this type of wood is a softwood. It can be easily chipped or damaged. I still love it just maybe not pet or kid safe. The four chairs arrived in two separate boxes but in one delivery. Everything was packed and labeled well. Shipping was fast. There were no defects with the chair parts or problems with assembly. On some of the longer "B" length screws I sprayed a very small amount of WD40 when the screw was not turning smoothly and it was easy after that. Total assembly took almost two hours for the four chairs. The chairs are decent quality for the price. I like how the legs are a kind of warm honey wood color. The cushioning is high and firm.
