One con really and that is that the coffee table arrived with a fairly sized dent right in the top that's super noticable, seems to be from shipping. Less bad after some furniture marker but impossible to miss. Don't want to dock the review too much but that's incredibly frustrating for an item we paid so much for. I didn't preserve the original packaging so I can't return it, and if I did I'd be hit with a fairly decent shipping charge due to the weight so we're going to make it work, but like I said very disappointing on day one. The top was broken off the lift mechanism when I opened the box. It has two runners that glue to the underside of the top that broke off. It had just a few brads and glue holding it on and some of the brads were bent over and did not penetrate the top. I would have sent it back but after opening it there was no way to get it all back in the box. I re-glued with polyurethane and put screws through the runners into the top. Not the best quality!.
