I had three garage freezers before, and they died because they were not designed for the garage. This one understands the assignment. It can get hot in my garage and it works anyway. My other models died after 1-2 years. I pack this with discounted bulk buy meat from a central CA market I found. I wrap them in smaller meal sizes and store it for gradual use. I’m still moving into my place but I needed a fridge that was narrow and this is perfect. I love the look and the inside looks more spacious than I expected. The fridge gets five stars. Wayfair gets zero. This was the most painful delivery process imaginable. When you order you get a delivery window with the information that you can specify what day you want it delivered once the order is processed. When that time came, I went online and chose my delivery day as the one they initially provided me was before I’d be moved into my new house. Everything seemed fine until I got text messages about it being delivered the original day. I went online again to see why it reverted back and I couldn’t even get to the page without it crashing. Same on the app. Customer service was awful. I finally talked to someone from their large parcel delivery team who was super friendly and help me reschedule again, confirming with me that I was all set. Until the original date comes around I start getting text messages about it being on its way and to reply to the text if there’s an issue. Of course there’s an issue, I’ve rescheduled more than once now. Replying back as instructed of course did nothing. I finally talked to the delivery people and told them I don’t live there yet and that I’ve rescheduled more than once, they were great and basically echoed how horrible this company is to deal with. So now I’m at a point where I have to wait for them to put it in as undeliverable and reschedule, though of course my original date I had confirmed twice is no longer available so book it for two days later than desired. This day finally comes around and I am tracking the delivery online and everything looks okay. Wouldn’t you know it, Wayfair calls me and says they’re calling to confirm that I’ve requested to reschedule for another five days later! I don’t even know where they pulled that BS from but I was like look, it’s out for delivery and if it doesn’t make it here I’m just returning it and going somewhere else, it’s not worth it at this point. The delivery guys did show up and were great, and like the others from the week before echoed that they’re not surprised by the miserable customer service and ordering process. Ordered this is dark grey and it is absolutely perfect. Its by chance that I found this because we had already ordred one from a big box store that was delayed on the shipping for six months. I was so frustrated and started to look elsewhere. We were limited because the custom cabinets were already installed and there was no way we were going to pull them out. Then I found this fridge. I purchased a quarter steer and needed a freezer with enough space to store it. This may have been an over kill but I am so happy I got it. I wanted an upright freezer because I’m limited on space. One thing I wasn’t expecting is for it to be so tall. It’s about the size of a refrigerator otherwise which worked out perfectly. I absolutely love that it has a lock up near the top. Really handy to keep the kids out of it. The temperature can be programmed easily. There is so much space in this freezer. A quarter steer only took up a shelf and a half. Regarding Lisa from San Jacinta California’s earlier comment, #1 on my fridge is the coldest. The instructions say #3 is best for “normal use”. I keep mine between #2 & 3, and all good. No freezing eggs or daily defrosting. Apparently in China they reverse the order of hot/cold numbering. That happened on an iron I bought once.
