This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. The couch is exquisite. Firm but very comfortable. The color is a royal blue. I love it. What i didn't like, hence the 4 stars, is the confusion regarding delivery and assembly. Fed Ex dropped the couch off in my front yard in hot sun with rain coming. I couldn't move it. Getting help through Wayfair was a nightmare until I finally got to talk to someone. 2 reps said that's the way it goes, it may be days...the last rep found someone who could come today. I love how beautiful this couch is! It looks perfect in my Harry Potter library (Slytheryn green) and it’s comfortable! It was easy to assemble alone (I’m a woman) and the instructions were easy to follow. I feel this couch is worth the price I paid, my only complaint is how low to the ground it is but that I can fix all on my own. It’s a little less plush looking than the original pics on the site but I can also fluff it up. I’ve bought so much from Wayfair and they have always been great to work with! I love this company!.
