This is a lovely piece of furniture with two tall bookcases and a mantel unit for the separate electric fireplace. It came in 4 heavy boxes with the fireplace in the fifth the next day. It was carefully packed to avoid damage. Most pieces are wood. The crown molding trim is MDF. It took several days to put together, but the directions were clear and easy to follow with cautions about not using the wrong length of peg where appropriate, for example. We appreciated the way the instructions were presented clearly with diagrams. We had to get help from some strong neighbors to stand it up after we had it all assembled. Most pieces fit perfectly and it was well engineered, but we had to drill a new hole for a screw in a couple places, especially on the crown molding at the top of the fireplace to get the corners to come together together perfectly. The shelves are sturdy and will hold our books and decorative items easily. The backing is a little loose in the support grooves, but we used some tape on the back to hold it in place a little more solidly after assembling it. The fireplace fit the opening well on the sides but was a little short at the top, allowing you to see the wall behind so we used a shelf board we had under the fireplace unit to raise it slightly. The “fire” has several color variations. It comes on automatically at the one we chose when it is turned on. It gives off some pleasant warmth. We have had many compliments on this fireplace and shelf unit. Overall, we are quite satisfied with it.. C E. Utah. Thu Oct 08 2026

I was very surprised how well this went together, everything was fairly easy and smooth until I got to installing the door hinges. I figured it out though and it looks great. I really like the fire feature, I was afraid it would look fake and tacky but it doesn’t at all. It has a very nice glow and I can’t wait to turn it on during the winter and create some nice ambience in the house. It was a little more expensive than I think it should be, but I’m not disappointed with the product.. Misty Rhoads - City Manager's. Redding, CA. Sat Aug 08 2026

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Having this console with fireplace really set the mood and the focal point of my living room. Friends are impressed by it. A few things though - definitely need two people to mount because the drilled holes are extremely precise and I would suggest measuring twice!! I did it myself but I used several jacks to level off and center everything. Also the provided anchors don't seem to be sufficient so I would add additional support in the other pre-drilled holes.. I am so happy with this TV stand with a fireplace! I shopped around for weeks and always kept coming back to this one. It took my husband and I (in total) a few hours to put it together because it has so many parts. A couple pieces were damaged and we contacted Wayfair and they sent us replacement parts within a few days! I appreciate their customer service. The whole thing feels sturdy and should last us for years to come. I picked this one because of the fireplace not only is it beautiful when it’s on but it’s also beautiful when it’s off.
