Katie Hybrid Mattress

Sealy was among the first to create the hybrid, pairing the best qualities of innerspring and memory foam mattresses to deliver best-of-both-worlds comfort. I was previously unaware of the concept of a mattress in a box. Upon visiting the Wayfair store, I had the opportunity to examine the mattress, having seen it advertised online. We proceeded to order it through the website due to the complimentary delivery service. It subsequently arrived packaged within a box. ItIt was quite heavy, so you will require assistance from another person to move it to its intended location. We have unraveled it, and as less than 24 hours have passed since then, this is its current appearance. Therefore, I will likely wait another 24 hours before placing it on the bed to ensure it has reached its maximum fullness. However, considering the price, we are quite satisfied with the purchase so far, and I will likely provide a follow-up review later.. Sabrina. Atlanta, GA. Sat Sep 12 2026

Very satisfied with this mattress. I’ve had this mattress for over a year and I get great sleep. Not too firm or soft, perfect for any sleeping positions. My son naps with me and he sleeps like a baby!. Anonymous. Mon Oct 12 2026

This hybrid mattress combines pocket coils and gel memory foam to create a balanced sleeping surface. It features a pillow top design with a soft polyester cover and a cotton fill for added comfort. Closed-cell high-density foam layers work with the internal spring system to provide support across the entire surface, including the edges. The breathable construction includes moisture-wicking properties and cooling gel technology to help regulate temperature throughout the night. We also love that it is compatible with adjustable bed bases for personalized positioning.

I researched many mattresses before deciding on this one. It's for my guest room and won't get daily use, but I still wanted a good quality mattress, which this seems to be! The only issue I had was that even after four days of letting the mattress expand (much longer than what was recommended), the 14" mattress never made it above 12.5". Wayfair made it right though, and I'm pleased with this mattress.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026

Great quality mattress, giving it four stars only because, while the title indicates firm, the description on the sight rates it right in the middle of plush and firm-exactly at medium, which is what I wanted. I was able to buy a topper and I actually love that I have the firm support for my lower back and a little squish on top for comfort. The mattress is very well made, no sagging off the side of the bed when sitting, it didn’t have much of a smell when unboxing, fully “inflated” and aired out for a few days as instructed before easily plopping it onto the Wayfair foundation I bought to match!. Crystal. Springfield, IL. Wed Oct 14 2026

So far it appears to be a good match for me and my wife since we both have back issues. Also, I am a side sleeper and the topper accomodates hips, elbows, knees, etc. I do need to know the procedures for returning the mattress after 7-10 days, if we do not feel that it is the best product for us.. The reviews were good, but the bed has exceeded all expectations. We are 51 and 43 years of age and weigh 300 LBS between us. Weve worked and played hard this life. We have slept on this mattress for over a week now and every single time, as my 220 lb, blue collar husband wakes up, he comments that was the best sleep ever. He has slept all over the country, in every kind of bed there is. He rarely gives a compliment, unless well deserved. We have owned 3 mattresses in 4 years. We will not be buying any other mattress anytime soon but you should, if you need better sleep and less numbess and pain. Unless, youre just reading a mattress review for pleasure ) Thank you, Brooklyn Bedding , for the happy husband, pain free nights of sleep and the rested days, we are externally grateful.. Anonymous. I was reluctant to purchase a mattress online because I've always tested out options in store. The reviews were very helpful but ultimately what convinced me was the double sided use. I do prefer the softer white side of the mattress and can see the benefit of switching to the firmer side after years of use. After a week on the mattress I am SO glad I made the purchase. This is my first California king bed. We let it rise for 24 hours while we camped out overnight. It’s firm with a little cushion. Not really for side lyers. I would recommend a cushion top if your looking for softer. I actually have been sleeping pretty good on it side lying and sleeping on my back. It really depends on your own personal needs. Overall it’s a great bed.. Anonymous. Wed Jul 08 2020

10” thick mattresses of good quality are hard to find especially in local stores. Serta came through on this one. Definitely not too soft. May add a topper later. Wanted a 10” to keep the height down since our platform bed is already 16” high and we really don’t care for high beds. And it’s light enough that we can rotate it ourselves.. Anonymous.
