"Piuma" is one of the most revolutionary and daring products in the evolution of technologies and materials used by Kartell. This is the first time that a material containing carbon fiber has been injection molded. The seat has a minimum thickness of a few millimeters (2 mm at most) resulting in an ultralight chair. Piuma is very light and very thin, but also incredibly strong, flexible, and suitable for outdoor use.

The A.I. family is growing, with the addition of A.I. stool recycled, a product made from recycled material with a clear focus on comfort thanks to a broad, welcoming seat.

The four chairs arrived on time and look just like the product photos/description overall. Good quality plastic and design, as expected from Kartell. However, the box was torn open during shipping (big hole on one side, packaging foam spilling out), and one of the armrests got quite dirty/smudged with grayish marks and scuffs along the edge. It seems like it rubbed against something rough in transit. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet (was traveling when it arrived), but I’ll attempt with mild soap and a soft cloth first. If it doesn’t come off, I’ll reach out to customer service. Delivery was quick and efficient otherwise—happy with the product apart from this small transit damage issue.. Dickie . Toronto.
