The plastic is a bummer but most products came with plastic. I hate plastic. But the piece is nice in every other regard. We are going to replace it with glass. This piece is large . Big footprint. It has all the room we need for bread, rolls, our cookies, crackers....we like it. It would be great for a shop or a lunchroom, a gathering place, etc. We would like it if it closed with magnets. It does not close well the way it is. It needs an extra push. But overall it was the best choice for us.. Laura. CA. Sat Oct 24 2026

Round out the room with a glass vase of bright sunflowers for botanical flair or a bowl of shimmering metal orbs for contrasting style. Perfect for storing fresh or store-bought bread, this understated design brings function and flair to your home.

I received my Bread Box. It was about chipped but not a lot. It just makes it look a bit antique. It was very well packed.. Judith. Bowie, MD. Fri Sep 25 2026
