All in all a good grilling cabinet. All wood. Sturdy once assembled. Instructions were difficult to follow and understand. Wood split a couple times during screwing in screws. Hardware is not stainless steel, which means it will rust. We live in Florida so both the wood and hardware will not survive the elements. I will not place my Komado in the designated spot due to the weight of the smoker and quality and thickness of the wood. It is a nice looking cabinet and will elevate any out door kitchen for a time.. Carl Joseph. Palm Coast, Florida. Thu Oct 15 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this the other day and used it for the first time this evening, August 27, 2025. It really helped with charcoal organizing, air flow, and cleanup. You’ll be reluctant at first when you see the price. You may even consider purchasing a less expensive alternative… Don’t. I took a chance, trusting the quality of the other products from Kamado Joe and honestly had to laugh when this arrived. The images don’t do it justice and when you retrieve it from it’s careful packaging, use two hands. The basket is fabricated out of ~1/4” stainless rod and will be remaining long after we die. That said, it’s well worth the money.. Bmainer. Maine. Thu Aug 28 2025

Kandu introduces a new way of cooking, based on an ancient old tradition. A way of cooking where you no longer cook just one part of your food at a time, but one where your food gets cooked left, right, top, bottom and - uniquely - center at the same time. Let’s start with the basics. Kandu is a charcoal oven that is used for vertical cooking. Vertical cooking? Yes. Traditional barbecues, including the Kamado types, work through a principle we call ‘horizontal cooking’. Food is put on a grate and put over a fire. This means largely only one side of your food is being exposed to the heat at a time, which means longer cooking times and loss of moisture, nutrients, and taste. With Kandu, the heat (which can reach temperatures up to 750°F) will quickly sear your food from all sides and even from the inside out. Food is ready in no time. This means more succulent meat, crispy veggies, and juicy fish - while maintaining the delicious flavor, juiciness, and nutrients. Kandu uses 3 to 4 pounds of charcoal (depending on which type) for consistent temperatures for 3 to 4 hours.

Revolutionize your charcoal grilling experience and transform your Kamado Joe into a rotisserie-style grill with the JoeTisserie attachment. Constructed from durable, 304-grade stainless steel, the spit rods and forks allow for pristine balance and steady rotation of up to 50-pounds of beef, pork or chicken resulting in meats that are smoky, juicy, and tender. The quiet, yet powerful, 120V motor provides a steady circulation for flawless food.
