Alvin Moving Gear Wall Clock 150114379

This NeXtime "William" large industrial wall clock (19.8") is designed with stunning moving gears for a striking centerpiece. The black roman index printed on the glass lens and matching colored hands create a bold contrast against the off-white dial. The moving gears operate separately from the clock and can be switched off. This clock runs on 3x AA battery. (not included)

While I am very happy with my purchase and this is such a beautiful clock, I am unhappy with the instructions. Basically, it's one line saying put one double AA battery in the unit. It fails to tell you what to do with the other battery insert. When I put the three batteries into the unit, the clock's gears worked (didn't work with only one double AA battery). So I put only one more double AA battery and now the gears work. If I put two, the clock sped up and did not tell the right time. So beware if you purchase!. Rachel. Astoria, NY. Wed Nov 05 2025

Moving gear | The movement of the gear gives the observer a feeling of hypnotic relaxation and makes the clock a living element in the environment in which it is placed. Great decor in any room.

We really like this clock! The only drawbacks are that the frame is plastic and the outside woodgrain is a decal and not actual wood but when you hang it up, it looks really nice. It also came with two extra set of clock face hands and another clock motor, which was really nice. I wish that it had had a center hang instead of two side hanging slots as this made it difficult to center and put up but overall we are happy with our purchase. Just which it had been a little less expensive, given that it is not actually wood.. Debra. Redding. Fri Jun 19 2026
