This is a great standing desk. I previously used a desktop riser, but I really like that this entire desk adjusts up and down. I absolutely love this desk. Obviously at this price, it is not going to be solid wood. It’s made of particle board in China but it looks so much nicer. Some pieces were a little dinged on the edges, but none of that shows once it’s built. I have it next to a high quality dresser in my bedroom and it fits right in. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. Overall I am very pleased (so far) with this desk. Admittedly, I am writing this review on the very first workday that I am using it, so I am still trying to get a feel for it compared to my old desk. As far as functionality goes, I give it 5-stars. It’s very easy to use and smoothly operates for height adjustment. It wasn’t overly difficult to put together even though it did take my husband and about 4 hours to do so. Ironically, the drawers were the most difficult part because the instructions (at least to us) weren’t too clear. We’re both quite adept at building furniture from a box, so to have stumped us is saying something. Speaking of the drawers, since this is a large desk, I’d rather have a second keyboard tray than the drawers. The main reason I’m giving it 4-stars is that the LED light strip all too easily broke while adding it to the desk. BTW, the installation of the light strip was also less the ideally shown in the instructions. But, the manufacturer is working on sending out a new kit to me even as I type this out, so at least the issue is getting corrected. Other than that, I will say that so far, I truly am enjoying the desk! I do LOVE the fact that you can have up to 4 presets saved. That’s far more helpful than I even originally thought it would be. This is my first standing desk, so it’s new territory for me. All in all, though, I would definitely recommend this desk. Just be sure to be super careful when sticking the LED strip to the desk because it snaps way too easily. Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. This Inbox Zero Lorentz sit‑stand desk showed up in two very heavy boxes (around 90 lbs each), so the delivery alone felt like a mini workout. Building it solo with ADHD took a few hours and a couple of “rewind and fix” moments, but the instructions were clear—I just managed to overlook a few things along the way. Once assembled, the quality really shows. The drawers and cabinet close cleanly, the desk raises and lowers quietly and smoothly, and the larger size gives me plenty of room for both work and gaming. The only confusing part was the wire hiders underneath—usually there are markings for screw placement, but this one had none. I also wish the cabinet had cable holes in the back or middle. This desk was actually very easy to put together and for the price point I love it! I will say make sure you double check the legs are the same length before you start as it says on page 1, because I swore I did and and then at the end it was at an angle so I had to take it apart partially to fix it. The desk is beautiful. I really love the size and how much workspace it provides. The built-in storage is super convenient, and the adjustable height feature is a huge plus.
