I normally don’t write reviews, however, I was so impressed after last nights storm (that I thought for sure all my hard work of putting this together was going to be shattered by the quarter sized hail)…. to my surprise, the gazebo was completely unharmed! I was hesitant when I unboxed this at first thinking it would not last a good size storm. I did anchor to post with the cement screws provided, but cemented the other two inside of outdoor gardening pots. The roof panels seemed like they were simply cardboard covered in plexi glass coating, therefore my hopes were not high for the durability. Well as much as I love this gazebo I wanted to be transparent on how many pieces this thing actually is. Took about two hours to unbox and unwrap the entire thing. I will say it was thoroughly packages which I really appreciate but every single thing was wrapped individually. We have a previous gazebo from wayfair that was a little smaller in size but took us about 3 hours total to put it together. We are on day 4 and still do not have it up completely. I do love it and how its looking and will post the finished once its all up but I recommend making sure you have enough hands to help or you prepare the prep of opening everything first. The worst part is the roof pieces have a film that has to be removed and that took up the most of our time. It was brutal . Maybe 4 hours to remove . Arrived incredibly fast! It was really easy to put together. It took me about 2 hours to assemble the base by myself, and then my daughter and nephew helped with the top. That part took a little longer (thanks to a few snack and break interruptions ), but the total active assembly time was about 6 to 6½ hours. It’s already held up through some heavy rain and high winds here in the Chicago area—and that was before we even anchored it to the concrete. So far, I’m absolutely loving it. Bought this (On Sale) to replace soft top gazebo that have had to replace (roof?) every 2 years. !st box arrived in no time, had to stop Fedex driver making delivery next door;from driving away with it still on the truck, not sure if 2nd box on truck, but it was delivered late next day. While they suggest 3 people (3hrs) I assembled it by myself (14hrs) over 4 days as it was the hottest days of the year so far. Worked early mornings and late evenings and sweated a ton. Anyways couple minor glitches because of directions, no problem at all on first phase, second phase, the roof, ensure that you do the top cap & row first and work your way down to the bottom. My bad, that I failed to identify that it was not a metal roof; not sure how well it will stand up; time will tell. Not unhappy about it because I got it half price; had I paid full price this review would have been different. Fan with light next install, had to special order a proper bracket to install it because this comes with a "U" bolt hanger, that is why it gets a 4 star instead of 5. Good luck and have patience.. There are some really cool features with this gazebo that I must've missed when originally looking at the description but number one for me is that the roof panels actually let in some light. Somewhat translucent-ish. They are not totally sun blocking which in the Pacific Northwest is HUGE. Assembly was easy enough. I put it together in an afternoon with a little bit of help.
